Actually, many clients prefer to avoid using insurance
as there are two distinct advantages.
1. Confidential information remains solely between the client and therapist rather than shared with the insurance company or an employer.
2. Insurance coverage requires a diagnosis to justify payment; some clients would prefer to avoid this.
